Heroes and spells the sources actually name
Sources checked Steam community announcement of 8 May 2026 and 19 Oct 2026, plus store screenshots in the 6 Nov 2026 appdetails payload. The store description names heroes and spells as categories and does not list them.
The store never prints a hero roster. It says packs contain heroes and spells, including rare cards and foil heroes, and that Mastery upgrades them.
Jordy’s 8 May 2026 demo patch names Monk and Paladin as slightly more powerful, with no numbers, and mentions Fireball audio plus crit and block effects.
The 19 October 2026 note reworks the Illusionist’s upgrades. A store screenshot’s objective list includes the line FIND 50 ILLUSIONISTS.
A Witch Doctor frame shows the text +100% HP, +1 SPELL CAST. A Chapter 1 results frame lists Cursor, Ranger, Squire, and Barbarian. Those labels can change before launch.
This is a name list with the sentence that justified each name. It is not a collection tracker, not a ranking, and not a claim that these cards ship on 10 November 2026. The full game was still marked coming soon on 6 November 2026. Demo text can move.
What the store says without naming anyone
The store copy talks about heroes and spells as groups. You discover them in packs, you upgrade their abilities with Mastery, and a foil hero is the example the short description uses. The 18 September 2026 note adds foil versions of heroes and of tomes, and new art for heroes, monsters, environments, the tower, and buildings. No name is attached to those sentences.
Funday’s support page uses the same categories: rare heroes, spells, and packs across rarities. Still no roster.
Names in the 8 May 2026 demo patch
Jordy’s announcement “small fixes and improvements” is a demo patch, not a launch card list. The lines that name a unit or a system are:
- Monk and Paladin are “slightly more powerful.” No health, damage, or cost is printed. “Slightly” is the whole balance note.
- Fireball is named only as “Fireball SFX,” which now mute correctly. That shows a Fireball sound existed in that build. It does not show the spell’s damage.
- Crit and block effects “are now playing correctly for all units.” Those are effect names, not a crit chance.
- A permanent tome bug was fixed. Tomes exist in that sentence. The bug’s old behavior is not described.
- Daily deals for common and rare units are “1c cheaper.” Common and rare are the words the patch uses. The coin-track overflow fix is the nearby evidence that a coin counter existed. The patch does not define the letter c.
Other lines in that patch are interface, not cards: a more responsive shop and upgrade tooltip, a screenshake toggle, and boss HP bar divisors for mastery thresholds.
Names in the October demo note
The 19 October 2026 Next Fest update says the Illusionist’s upgrades were reworked. It does not say what the upgrades were before or after. The same post’s Interloper rule is about pulling a random hero from a full-game pack. It does not name that hero.
A store screenshot’s objective list includes the readable line FIND 50 ILLUSIONISTS. The same frame also shows a skeleton-count objective and a line DEFEAT THE WRAITH. Progress fractions on that thumbnail are easy to misread, so this page quotes the Illusionist line, which is large enough to check, and does not turn the other two counters into goals.
Names on the store screenshots
These are labels on images in the 6 November 2026 screenshot set. They are quoted so the guide is not vaguer than the pictures. They are still one build’s UI.
Witch Doctor. The spell-burst screenshot puts that name over a green figure, with the line “+100% HP, +1 SPELL CAST.” Read that as the text on the frame. It is not a stat this site confirmed in a client, and it may not survive the “lots of balance changes” the September note already warned about.
Cursor, Ranger, Squire, Barbarian. The Chapter 1 complete screenshot lists them with counts in parentheses: Cursor (1), Ranger (2), Squire (7), Barbarian (4). A damage column and a defense column sit beside the names. The cell values are not copied here. Four names on a results screen are not the roster.
The Witch from the Abyss. That is the subtitle under “CHAPTER 3” on the shop screenshot. The image does not show the fight, so this page does not describe a boss kit. It only records the chapter label.
The header and capsule art show illustrated packs — a red pack, a green pack, a blue pack, an orange pack, a pale pack — with figures and symbols on them. The art does not print those figures’ names. They are not added to the list above.
Tomes, relics, modifiers
Tomes show up twice in text: foil tomes in the 18 September note, and the permanent-tome bugfix in May. The Chapter 3 screenshot adds tabs labeled Relics and Modifiers next to Upgrade and Collection. The posts checked do not define what a relic or a modifier does, and they do not name a single relic. The Upgrade tab on that screenshot is a node graph around the tower. The October note’s “skill tree visual improvements” may be the same UI. The sources do not say so in those words, so this page keeps them as two observations.
Spells, as a category, are in every store paragraph. The only spell-like names safe to repeat are Fireball (as an SFX line) and the Witch Doctor’s on-screen cast line. A comment on the itch page mentions a “frenzy tome.” That is a player comment, not a developer post, and it is not treated as a card that exists.
